Columbia Triumphant

Columbia Triumphant crowns the USS Maine Memorial at Columbus Circle. Modeled upon Roman quadriga, an ancient symbol of victory, the gilded bronze sculptural group was cast from cannon retreived from the Maine’s wreck in Havana Harbor.
